Life is full of surprises, says Mariki. She started out as a high-brow molecular researcher, has since worked as an estate agent and for the last 15 years has been a business owner and photographer. She brings excellent communicating and managerial skills and creativity to the table. This makes for a perfect creative partnership between her and Lourens.
Mariki loves people. She is down-to-earth, sensitive and makes even the most reluctant subject relax in front of the camera.
It is said, one whose work is doing what he loves, never works a day in his life. This is true of Lourens. He started out in life thinking his destiny was to become a lawyer. Fortunately his creativity and sensitivity found an outlet in photography, leading to a successful business, two fine art exhibitions and many awards.
He is an avid fan of the 70′s progressive rock music, loves sport and is a champion masters breaststroke swimmer. He is compassionate and ever the diplomat!
